Civil War

Think of it as a dirty love child between Beer Pong and Dodge Ball

THE RULES

  • Event is played best 2 out of 3 rounds
  • Teams line up at each end of the table
  • 2 to 3 players per team (Team sizes must match)
  • 4 balls in play at one time

START OF GAME

  • 2 opposing players will count down from 3 and the game begins on GO ("3, 2, 1, GO"  (I know at least one of you will screw this up...)

GAMEPLAY

  • Once the game has started each team will continuously shoot the ball into the opposing players cups (Correct, there are no turns)
  • You may only grab a ball if it is on your side of the center line
  • If a ball lands in a cup, the player owning the cup must drink its contents
  • The player may not shoot until the cup is drank
  • Once a player loses all 3 cups, that player is eliminated
  • Players may "pass" the ball to a teammate only if they are eliminated from the game while still drinking their 2nd cup
  • The team with players still remaining wins the round
  • Cups can be fixed during gameplay at the owning players discretion
  • Bouncing is allowed but only eliminates one cup
  • If the ball is touched after being shot before it hits the table or a cup, the player that hit the ball must pull one of their cups

STORAGE CUPS

  • Each team will have 2 cups filled with water on the table in front of the team
  • Eliminated players may place loose balls in storage cups for active players to use

ELBOWS

  • Elbows must not cross the edge of the table while shooting. If they cross, the shot does not count.

ELIMINATED PLAYERS

  • Once a player is eliminated they may still fetch loose balls on their teams side of the table and place them in storage cupsOVERTIME• In the event of a tie on the final round with both teams winning one previous round, the event will go into a one cup sudden death shoot out (Duel), continuous shooting is no longer allowed in Overtime.
